Father Peter Pomposello is a Catholic priest and active-duty U.S. Army chaplain serving with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. Ordained after graduating from St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, New York, he has served as an Army chaplain since 2014 and holds the rank of Major. His vocation combines priestly ministry with military service, providing sacramental and pastoral care to soldiers and their families.
Throughout his career, Father Pomposello has ministered at major Army installations, including Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), and has supported troops during deployments and field operations, even training alongside paratroopers. He is also known for his work in recruiting priests and seminarians to the chaplaincy, advocating for the spiritual needs of Catholics serving in uniform.
